Galerie Droste ist eine Kunstgalerie mit dem Sitz in Wuppertal, GER, sowie in Paris FR, die im Jahr 2016 von Patrick Droste und Katharina Galladé eröffnet wurde.
Der Schwerpunkt des Programms liegt auf international aufstrebenden und etablierten KünstlerInnen, die überwiegend im Bereich der Malerei und Bildhauerei praktizieren.
Die Repräsentation der jüngeren KünstlerInnen Generation, mit akademischer und non-akademischer Herkunft, schafft eine spannende Diversität im Ausstellungsprospekt
ohne zu klassifizieren.
Galerie Droste ist eine Weiterentwicklung der 2012 von Patrick Droste und David Radon in Soest gegründeten Galerie art is just a four letter word. Das sich stetig professionalisierende Bestreben des wachsenden Teams, zog dann den Standortwechsel in größere Räumlichkeiten im Jahre 2016 nach sich.
Das Ziel ist es seitdem, in– und ausländischen KünstlerInnen eine Plattform für ihr Werk zu bieten, um somit einen abwechslungsreichen Ausschnitt der zeitgenössischen Kunstszene darzustellen.
Mit dem Programm sollen neue Perspektiven eröffnet, wechselseitige Berührungspunkte herausgearbeitet und kulturell- gesellschaftliche Strömungen verbildlicht werden.

The steadily professionalizing efforts of the growing team then led to the relocation to larger premises in 2016.
Since then, the goal has been to provide domestic and foreign artists with a platform for their work in order to present a varied section of the contemporary art scene.
The program is intended to open up new perspectives, to work out points of mutual contact and to illustrate cultural and social trends.
